Partner Disclosures & Licensing
1. Open Banking & Plaid
To facilitate seamless and secure ACH capital transfers, VestWits integrates with Plaid Inc. By linking your external bank account, you agree to Plaid's end-user terms. VestWits does not store your banking username or password on our servers; we solely hold cryptographic tokens utilized to request fund transfers on your behalf.
2. Custodial Clearing Partners
VestWits acts as an introducing broker. Actual clearing, settlement, and custody of your physical and digital assets are handled by our SEC-regulated third-party custodians (e.g., Apex Clearing Corporation). By opening a VestWits account, you are also entering into a custodial agreement with these underlying clearing firms.
3. Market Data Licensing
Real-time market data, ticker logs, and fundamental corporate statistics displayed within the VestWits terminal are sourced from external API nodes including but not limited to Bloomberg LP, Reuters, and Nasdaq Data Link. This data is provided "as-is" for informational purposes. VestWits does not independently audit the integrity of these third-party streams and cannot guarantee absolute accuracy.
4. OAuth Authentication & External Vendors
When verifying your identity via third-party providers (such as Google SSO or secure SMS vendors for Multi-Factor Authentication), those vendors govern the specific verification data during transit. We mandate that all third-party authentication partners abide by SOC 2 Type II compliance standards to ensure your login vectors remain impenetrable.
5. Vendor Right to Terminate
Our third-party data providers maintain the right to throttle, restrict, or entirely terminate API access to users found violating their upstream Acceptable Use Policies. Should an upstream vendor revoke access to a specific data feed, VestWits is not legally required to refund subscription fees or provide alternate data pipelines.
