1. Risk of Principal Loss

All investments involve risk, including the absolute loss of principal capital. Past performance of a security, industry, sector, market, or financial product does not guarantee future results or returns. VestWits provides self-directed investors with data and execution tools, but does not offer personalized tax, legal, or investment advice.

2. SIPC & FDIC Insurance Disclosures

VestWits Brokerage, LLC is a member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), which protects securities customers of its members up to $500,000 (including $250,000 for claims for cash). Explanatory brochure available upon request at www.sipc.org.

Uninvested cash balances swept into our partner program banks become eligible for FDIC insurance up to $2,500,000. FDIC insurance does not cover securities or guard against market losses.

3. Fractional Share Limitations

Fractional shares held in your VestWits account represent a proportional mathematical interest in a whole corporate share. These fractional pieces are illiquid outside of the VestWits terminal. They cannot be transferred to outside brokerages via ACATS; they must be liquidated into cash prior to transfer. Fractional shares do not confer voting rights unless specifically aggregated by our custodian.

4. Extended Hours Trading Risks

Trading during the pre-market (4:00 AM - 9:30 AM EST) and after-hours (4:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST) sessions involves material risks not present during standard market hours. These include lower liquidity, higher volatility, wider bid-ask spreads, and unlinked markets. By opting into extended hours trading on your terminal, you acknowledge that limit orders may remain unexecuted due to sheer lack of counterparty liquidity.
